The Catholic War Veterans' Post 736 was initially formed in 1946 and is named
after Msgr. Hugh J. Monaghan. Since its inception, the Post and its dedicated
members have been devoted themselves to the needs of fellow veterans and to
supporting the youth of the community. Several projects have been undertaken over
the years including the current program to support basketball in local Catholic Schools.
With longstanding roots in the Baltimore Catholic Community, Post 736 continues in its
efforts to ensure that its members carry on the commitments to God, County and
Family.
