The Catholic War Veterans' Post 736 was initially formed in
1946 and is named after Msgr. Hugh J. Monaghan. Since its
inception, the Post and its dedicated members have been devoted
to the needs of fellow veterans and to supporting the youth of the
community. Several projects have been undertaken over the years
including the current program to support basketball in local
Catholic Schools.
The Catholic War Veterans Post 736 Basket Ball League was local
parochial schools have participated and thereby, benefited from
this venture.
